Volunteering
Want to help us out with running Rappig Crossing? We need volunteers to help check badges and watch our game room! We will schedule your volunteer time around panels and events you want to attend.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 volunteer hours.
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Must have a badge (any level).
Applications close Aug 9, 2026.
Note: We will reach out to all applicants a month before the con with more information about your role as a volunteer. You may not receive a response to your application until then.
Roles & Duties
Con Ops:
- Registration (checking people in, selling badges)
- Selling con merch
- Handing out stamp game prizes
- Silent Auction entries
- Closing up Artist Alley
- Board Game check-out and check-in
- Help attendees with schedule/map questions
Video Game Attendant:
- Game and controller check-out and check-in
- Help with game setup if needed
- Badge check
- Assist Con Ops if needed
Panel Attendant:
- Badge check
- ID check for 18+ panels
- Assist with moving chairs if needed
- Fetch security or staff if needed
Security:
- Be a point of contact for attendees
- Keep doors and aisles clear
- Patrol convention space
- De-escalate conflicts
- Medical emergency duties (preferred basic CPR training, but not required)
- Help with evacuations
Event Assistant:
- Move chairs and tables
- Decorations
- Setup games and prizes
- Pack boxes
- Clean up trash
Staff Assistant:
- Assisting staff members with various tasks related to their roles
- May touch any areas of the convention including cosplay contest, artist alley, panels, photography, tech, and more
